The matchup didn’t disappoint as James went for 36 points, eight rebounds and five assists, but it was Anthony’s team that would come away with the win behind 34 points and 11 rebounds from the future NBA star.
That high school matchup is regarded to be one of the most iconic in history given how LeBron and Melo’s NBA careers played out, and now their kids have a chance to leave a similar mark.
Bronny James and Sierra Canyon are set to take on Kiyan Anthony and Christ the King on Monday, Dec. 12.

Bronny James and Sierra Canyon will host Kiyan Anthony and Christ the King at Sierra Canyon High School in Chatsworth, Calif.
The high school game featuring Bronny James and Kiyan Anthony will be televised nationally on ESPN 2. John Schiffren will handle play-by-play duties alongside analysts Paul Biancardi and Jay Bilas. Malika Andrews will be on the sidelines.

James is a senior at Sierra Canyon and is currently ranked as a four-star recruit and the 34th-best player in the high school class of 2023. According to ESPN’s recruiting database, James has offers from Kentucky, Memphis, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon and USC.

Anthony is only a sophomore at Christ the King, but the 15-year-old is already making his name known. Back in November, he received an official offer from his father’s alma mater, Syracuse, joining a list of schools like Memphis, George Mason, Manhattan and Bryant, according to 247Sports.
