Despite starting the season ranked 29th in scoring offense, the Denver Broncos tonight go for their third straight home win as they host the Indianapolis Colts on a Thursday Night primetime showdown of AFC foes. The last time the Broncos started their home schedule 3-0, they finished 12-4 en route to a Super Bowl championship in 2015. The Colts enter tonight 1-2-1 having been one of the more baffling teams this season, getting shut out by Jacksonville before then rebounding the following week to beat the mighty Kansas City Chiefs. Russell Wilson and the Broncos offense have yet to find their scoring stride so far this season, but Wilson has been efficient in completing 61.1% of his passes and has four touchdowns to just one interception.

Wilson sits four touchdown passes shy of 300 regular-season scores, which would tie him with legendary two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback and former Bronco John Elway.
The Colts will be without star running back Johnathan Taylor with an ankle injury marking the second time in his career he has missed a game. Taylor misses a game during his rookie season in 2020 when he was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
