Jon Jones is ready to return to elite MMA action and will face off against Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 for the vacant heavyweight title.
UFC great Jones has been away from the Octagon since his victory over Dominick Reyes in February 2020.
But ‘Bones’ is now set to make his comeback and has the chance to claim the UFC Heavyweight Championship.
The title was vacated by Francis Ngannou after his UFC contract expired.
And Gane, who lost the belt to Ngannou last January, will be eager to make the most of his opportunity to secure gold again.
UFC 285 should be one of the highlights of the year and Jones has promised an explosive return to action.
UFC 285 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 4 and is being held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The prelim action is expected to start at 11pm for UK fans with the main card getting underway from 1am on Sunday morning.
Jones v Gane is then set to begin at around 4am but times will be confirmed closer to the event.
The action will be shown on BT Sport and full information on their coverage will follow.
The talkSPORT network will also have all the build-up and reaction to the event throughout fight week.

Jones: “I know how to win fights. That’s why I’m here.
“I don’t think about losing. I’ve never lost. I don’t think about losing. My mind is completely focused on the win.
“I’ve been ready for a while. I trained to fight against Francis [Ngannou], I trained to fight against Stipe [Miocic], and now Ciryl Gane is the guy I’m fighting.
“It’s been a long time coming. This is three years of training twice a day with no reward. That was frustrating at times.
“But I stayed faithful to my goals and dreams, and I’m here. I’ve made it. I am excited, and I am here for the challenge.
“I respect that Ciryl took this fight. I like what he stands for. He carries himself like a gentleman.
“I know he has a lot to gain and not much to lose, but this is a huge step up in competition for him in my opinion.
“This is the fight to watch. This is the way MMA is headed.
“Two lean heavyweights that could have played football or basketball. It’s going to be two elite athletes going at it.”
