The Lakers going into the game sitting fourth in the Western Conference standings and have an 18-12 record.
However, they will be eager to put things right after their 128-110 defeat to the Washington Wizards last Sunday.
In the previous game, the four-time MVP posted a triple-double as the Lakers thrashed the Charlotte Hornets 128-100.

Earlier this week, former Lakers star Metta World Peace suggested LeBron could steer the franchise to the playoffs.
“LeBron James, as a Lakers fan, it’s really encouraging to see the Lakers have the opportunity to go to the playoffs,” he said.
“I’m pretty sure LeBron James isn’t trying to be out in the first round.
“A lot of people have got the Lakers fourth or fifth, but LeBron James in his head has them first.
