Michigan vs Ohio State 2022 is one of the biggest editions of The Game in recent memory and we have all the info you need for the rivalry matchup.
Just a year ago, a one-loss Michigan Wolverines team played spoiler against their biggest rivals, the Ohio State Buckeyes, in Ann Arbor to punch their own ticket to the Big Ten Championship Game and the College Football Playoff. Now both teams can be a spoiler in 2022 with The Game heading to Columbus.
Both Michigan and Ohio State enter the rivalry clash at a perfect 11-0 and ranked No. 3 and 2, respectively, in the College Football Playoff rankings. The winner will go on to play in the conference title game and will have a sure path to the CFP.
This is a fascinating game, though. One of the big storylines has been the injury status of Wolverines running back Blake Corum, one of the favorites to win the Heisman. Whether he plays could be a deciding factor in this matchup. Meanwhile, the Buckeyes have another Heisman candidate on their side with C.J. Stroud, who is armed with a treasure chest of weapons headlined by breakout star Marvin Harrison Jr.
When it comes to The Game between Michigan and Ohio State, this is as big as it gets. So we have everything you need to know for this Rivalry Week headliner.
Keeping with tradition and in the cold midwest, The Game will kick off on Saturday, Nov. 26 at Noon ET and 11 a.m. CT.
The 2022 edition of The Game will be played at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, OH, or The Shoe as it’s often referred to colloquially. This is a massive advantage for the Buckeyes as their rivals have not won in Columbus since 2000.
As is the case with most Big Ten games but this one in particular, the broadcast will be on FOX after Big Noon Saturday leads us into The Game.
Last season, one-loss Michigan welcomed Ohio State to a snowy Big House in Ann Arbor and head coach Jim Harbaugh finally got over the hump. Hassan Haskins had a monster day with five touchdowns and 160+ yards as the Wolverines ran all over the Buckeyes for a 42-27 win.
FanDuel Sportsbook has the Buckeyes as a 7.5-point favorite at home in this game against the Wolverines. The Over/Under total is set at 56.5 points for the game as well.
There has not been a full injury report listed yet for Michigan. However, the big question all week has been whether or not Corum will play against Ohio State after suffering a knee injury last week against Illinois and playing just one snap in the second half.
But ESPN’s Pete Thamel is reporting that Corum plans to play on Saturday against the Buckeyes. That’s huge news for the Wolverines as their own Heisman candidate should be on the field.
While much of the talk has been about Corum and the injuries for the Wolverines, the Buckeyes are not coming into this game healthy. There are several players out, most notably running back TreVeyon Henderson and wide receiver Jaxson Smith-Njigba, the latter having missed multiple games this season. Offensive guard Matt Jones is also listed as a game-time decision.

FOX having the broadcast on Saturday in the early afternoon for Big Noon Saturday means that the A-Team will be on the call. Gus Johnson will have the play-by-play duties alongside color commentator Joel Klatt. Jenny Taft will be the main sideline reporter.
Michigan actually leads the all-time series against Ohio State with a 59-51-6 record against the Buckeyes since they won the first meeting back in 1897. However, OSU has made a strong push to even up that record over the past decade as they’ve gone 17-3 since 2001 in The Game — though the win in 2010 was vacated due to an NCAA ruling.
To listen to the Michigan radio broadcast for the rivalry showdown in Columbus, you can tune in to listen to WSGW live on their AM broadcast.

For fans who are looking for other means to stream The Game on Saturday afternoon, your best bet would be to head to Google and search for something along the lines of “reddit cfb streams”. That should point you in the right direction.
