– Raptors led the NBA Finals 3-1 and were aiming to win their first NBA title in history.
– Kevin Durant returned to the line-up from injury and had 11 points after the first quarter, but re-injured his right leg and left the arena on crutches.
– The Warriors led for the majority of the game until the Raptors came back in the fourth. Then Steph Curry and Klay Thompson hit clutch three-pointers to give Golden State the lead.
– The Raptors had a chance to win it with the last possession but couldn’t get a good shot off in time.
– Game 6 takes place on Friday 14th June, 2am BST.
Fourth quarter: Warriors 106 – 105 Raptors
THE WARRIORS HOLD ON! Brilliant defensive effort to make Toronto take a bad shot and we’re going to a Game 6. What a game!
0:15.7: OFFENSIVE FOUL ON COUSINS. Raptors with a chance to win the game and the Finals here.
1:05: Steph ties the game with a HUGE THREE… then Klay follows up with a three of his own to give the Warriors the lead! Big-time plays from the All-Stars.
1:59: Big call by the officials. Call interference on a DeMarcus Cousins put back. That could be crucial. Raptors still lead by three.
2:30: Klay Thompson answers with a three of his own! Raptors lead cut to three.
4:03: Kawhi… BANG AGAIN! Back-to-back clutch threes. Follows up with a two-pointer. Raptors nation going wild!
5:08: Kawhi… BANG!!! RAPTORS LEAD
6:45: Warriors going small now as Looney now ruled out for the remainder of the game. Big minutes for Quinn Cook now.
8:05: Serge Ibaka… WITH THE SLAM! Kyle Lowry also with a couple big buckets for the Raptors here in the fourth. He now has 17 points. Six Raptors are in double digits, making up for Kawhi Leonard’s poor night so far.
10:03: HUGE three-pointer from Quinn Cook. He has been struggling from deep in the last few games. Then comes back up the floor with a nice assist to Jordan Bell for two. Warriors up by six.
11:32: DeMarcus Cousins back in the line-up for the Warriors and straight away gets to the line. Brilliant input from Cousins off the bench so far.Third quarter: Warriors 84-78 Raptors
Steph 26 PTS (6-6FT); DeMarcus Cousins 13 PTS (10 MINS)
Marc Gasol 17 PTS (4 FLS), Kawhi 14 PTS (4-15 FG)
3:41: 10-0 run for the Raptors and now they’re within four points! Incredible run from Toronto. But then Klay hits a dagger three in the corner to silence the crowd.
4:50: Kevon Looney now grimacing in a lot of pain clutching his right shoulder. He was originally ruled out for the rest of the NBA Finals. If the Warriors do get through this they’re going to be the walkng wounded.
6:10: The Warriors have so far done an excellent job on Kawhi. He has just 13 points, missed all three three-point attempts and shooting just 4-14 from the floor.
7:00: The Raptors cut back the lead but then the Warriors went on a 8-0 run to go back up by 12. Golden State not going away on this one.
Toronto need a new plan to get this done tonight.
11:00: Warriors get out to a fast start in the third quarter and open up an 11-point lead off the back of back-to-back threes from Andre Iguodala and Klay Thompson.Second quarter: Warriors 62-56 Raptors
Steph Curry 23 PTS (3-5 3PT); Klay 12 PTS (3-6 3PT)
Marc Gasol 15 PTS; Kawhi 13 PTS, 6 REB, 5 AST
0:33: Curry nails a three-pointer at the end of the half to silence the Raptors crowd after a wild few minutes. Steph has 23 in the first half.
1:30: Raptors going on a role here and the crowd a feeling it. Siakam with a run of points to bring Toronto their first lead of the game.
3:28: Marc Gasol hits a three and this place goes WILD! Raptors now within six. Toronto are 5-0 when Gasol finishes with 15-plus points. He currently has 13.
4:03: Technical foul on Draymond Green. He is NOT happy with that foul call. He’s one technical foul away from being suspended. If this series goes beyond Game 5 then that could be big.
4:35: Cousins now with 9 points off the bench for the Warriors. He’s the only non-starter to get on the scoreboard for Golden State.
7:45: DeMarcus Cousins came in off the bench to replace KD and immediately went OFF. He has seven points in just two minutes.
9:30: That’s a huge disaster for not only the Warriors, but Durant himself. He looked good in the opening first quarter. But clearly felt sharp pain in his injured right calf as he planted his foot on a move on Serge Ibaka and his face said it all.
He had to be helped off the court and into the locker room. Back to square one for the Warriors again.
9:46: KEVIN DURANT IS DOWN!!
11:45: Still no DeMarcus Cousins surprisingly for the Warriors. Steve Kerr goes to Andrew Bogut before Cousins. KD staying in there clearly feeling good to start the game.

First quarter: Warriors 34-28 Raptors
Steph Curry 14 points, KD 11 points (3-3 3PT)
Marc Gasol 10 points, Kawhi 6 points
1:40: Airball from KD gets a huge cheer from the Raptors crowd. A scrappy first quarter so far with turnovers and fouls. Warriors up by three.
3:30: Dramond draining a three is bad news for the Raptors. He had made just two in the previous four NBA Finals games.
5:21: KD now out getting strapped up and the Raptors tie it up 19-19 off the back of a three-point play from Kawhi. Gasol with 10 points.
7:11: Dubs start the game five-for-five from three-point range. Anyone still wondering if the Warriors are better without KD?
8:30: KD already 2-for-2 from three-point range. Steph with seven points. Warriors looking to silence this crowd early.
11:30: Durant’s first test is to defend Pascal Siakam on the first trip up the court, and he wins that match-up first. Right calf looking good there.
The talk is over, Game 5 of the NBA Finals is now underway!2am: Monica with a moving rendition of the Star Spangled Banner, but unsurprisingly a massive cheer for opera singer Doug Tranquada.
He opens up but then lets the fans takeover in a spine-tingling moment! The home fans are pumped for this!
1.50am: The Warriors going with the “death line-up”. KD, Steph, Klay, Draymond and Iggy.
No DeMarcus Cousins surprisingly, but this could well be the last “death line-up”.
Expect a lot of “this could be the last time…” throughout the night.
1.45am: Is there a better supported team in the NBA than the Raptors? Fans have been queuing since LAST NIGHT just to get into Jurassic Park today… and it’s been raining all day! That is serious commitment!
We’re getting ever closer to tip-off and I’ve got a strong feeling the place is going to be jumping when the Canada national anthem plays.
One hour before tip off, Jurassic Park is POPPIN’! pic.twitter.com/xt6kcJ9aki1.25am: Steve Kerr on Kevin Durant:
“We’ll start him and play him in short bursts and see how he responds physically,” he said.
“See if his wind is okay and as the game goes we’ll figure it out from there.”
1:15am: All eyes will be on Kevin Durant this evening and whether he can quickly get back up to speed. Any average player would more than likely struggle to pick up the pace in a Finals game – let alone an elimination game – but Durant is no ordinary player.
He was averaging 34.2 points per game, shooting an incredible 51.3 per cent from the floor, before going down with a calf strain against the Rockets.
