The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, led by quarterback Tom Brady, meet the Atlanta Falcons, led by quarterback Desmond Ridder, in an NFL Week 18 NFC South football game with playoff implications on Sunday, January 8, 2023 (1/8/23) at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Bucs clinched their second straight NFC South championship last weekend and have little to play for — except the prospect of taking a winning record into the postseason. Head coach Todd Bowles said that he doesn’t plan to sit healthy regulars in hopes of avoiding injuries.
“I mean, it’s football. You can’t play 16 games and then worry about the 17th,” Bowles said.
