Zach Shallcross, from the last season of “The Bachelorette,” will start his journey to find love 8-10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2023, on ABC.

Shallcross, 26, is a tech executive from Anaheim Hills, California.
He dated Rachel Recchia on season 19 of “The Bachelorette.” Shallcross made it as far as fantasy suites episode after which he self-eliminated. Up until then, Recchia and Shallcross had seemed to have a connection.
ABC, in his bio, said Shallcross is “a family man at heart” and “splits his time between Texas and Orange County. His parents, who have been married for over 30 years, have shown him what true love looks like. He strives to find a love that echoes the standard they have set for him, and he plans to keep them in mind when looking for a life partner. Home is where the heart is, and with the Bachelor mansion not too far away, Zach is eager to begin his journey back home in Southern California.
Zach loves beach volleyball, football, his dogs and, of course, his mom, but he knows he has much more love to give ― he’s ready to add ‘life partner’ to that list.”
One of the 30 women that Shallcross will date on the show is from Pittsburgh and is a 2017 graduate of Penn State University. Cara Ammon, 27, works as a corporate recruiter at J.P. Morgan in New York City, according to her LinkedIn profile.
